Software: Download [repack] Votol
Connect the 6-pin or 5-pin debugging connector of the cable to the matching display/programming port on your Votol harness.
Disclaimer: This guide is for informational purposes. Modifying your EV controller parameters can damage your batteries, motor, or controller and may void warranties. Always consult your component datasheets.
If the motor spins backward, the controller needs to relearn the motor orientation.
Plug the 4-pin connector into the controller’s programming port and the USB end into your computer. Download Votol Software
A “Hall Error” on a Votol controller often means the throttle signal voltage is outside the expected range. Some Votol controllers supply 6 V instead of the standard 5 V to the throttle hall sensor; the software limits must be adjusted accordingly.
Plug your USB programming cable into the computer (do not connect the vehicle yet). Run the downloaded driver installer (e.g., PL2303 wizard). Restart your computer if prompted. Identify the COM Port
Votol software runs exclusively on Windows (Windows 7, 10, or 11). It is not natively compatible with macOS or Linux. Connect the 6-pin or 5-pin debugging connector of
