As the stressed-out, highly neurotic president of the co-op, Bayona perfectly captured the anxiety of a man trapped between his demanding family and an unmanageable building.

Jorge Enrique Abello (Fer) and Patrick Delmas (Mauri) provided groundbreaking representation for Colombian TV at the time.

Based on the Spanish character Juan Cuesta, he played the stressed, overly bureaucratic president of the building who desperately tries to maintain order in a community governed by chaos.

Years after its original broadcast, the show enjoys a massive second life on streaming platforms and social media. Clips of Wilson Patricio’s schemes, the elderly trio's gossip sessions, and Juan Preciado’s mental breakdowns frequently go viral as memes and TikTok audios. The series remains a comforting, nostalgic watch for audiences seeking high-quality, lighthearted Colombian comedy.

This show was Aquí no hay quien viva (RCN), a Colombian adaptation of the wildly successful Spanish series of the same name that had originally aired on Antena 3 between 2003 and 2005. In the age of streaming and digital reruns, clips of the show continue to circulate on platforms like YouTube and TikTok, introducing a new generation to the chaotic, heartwarming, and timeless madness of the tenants of Calle del Sol.

The success of Aquí no hay quien viva RCN rested squarely on its ensemble cast. The production brought together some of Colombia’s finest comedic and dramatic actors to bring the eccentric neighbors of the building to life:
