The story follows two office workers, Jennifer and Guy, who find themselves the last to leave their building before a long holiday weekend. They become trapped together in an elevator during a Valentine's Day weekend. What starts as awkward small talk and a seemingly romantic spark quickly devolves into a nightmare of obsession and violence as they realize they are stuck for 72 hours with no hope of immediate rescue.
