Directed by Rohit Shetty, "Rowdy Rathore" tells the story of Thakur Vikramaditya (Akshay Kumar), a small-time thief who assumes the identity of India's most notorious dacoit (bandit), Gabbar Singh. Upon returning to his hometown, Thakur befriends a local cop, Shiv Prasad (Abhishek Bachchan), and falls in love with a beautiful woman, Aisha (Sonakshi Sinha). However, his life takes a dramatic turn when he must confront his past and face off against his enemies.
